Bitxfy is not only beautiful and useful wallet but also very functional. For example, you can specify transaction fee (fast or cheap transaction), or browse the details of the transaction before sending. In the "Addresses", you can see detailed information about each of your addresses: the number of transactions, balance, QR-code of address as well as information about the transactions themselves.

To generate bitcoin addresses and provide comfortable recovery functional for other devices Bitxfy uses a hierarchical deterministic key generator with a mnemonic phrase. Do not give anyone access to your mnemonic phrase, because who owns that phrase actually owns funds. Write down your mnemonic phrase and keep it in secret.

Your mnemonic phrase is used to generate the main secret. The main secret is securely stored on the device and at the time of signing transactions, private keys are cryptographically derived from the main secret. By default, the main secret is stored in the database of this application, access to which is restricted to other applications by the operating system.

Also, to improve the safety, Bitxfy wallet provides password protection. Just set the password in the settings. If you don’t remember your password, press the “Forgot password” button on the input password screen and enter your mnemonic phrase. After that, the wallet will be restored and your password will be reset.

Bitxfy also improves the privacy of users by using new addresses for each transaction.
